Well actually I requested no ranch dressing as that is what the sandwich came with, so instead she put mayo. GIVE ME A BREAK!! Since this was one of my regular lunch establishments I was quite calm about it and even considered it the sandwich with it, but I just couldn't it.

Okay, so I think we can safely say that the concept of mayo is disgusting, and that the end result is pure evil. What my question is, how do you feel about the varying levels of mayoness?

Level 1 - Pure mayo, used as a way to ruin an otherwise good sandwich, and for some reason put on any chicken type sandwich in restaurants. Apparently also used for dipping of french fries by some particularily saddistic individuals.

Level 2 - Mayo mixed with a side dish, or as a main ingredient in a dish. Potato and some types of pasta salad come to mind.

Level 3 - Mayo based dipping sauces and flavorings. Ranch is mainly what I am thinking about, but all of those aoili sauces that you see at restaurants that have some other type of flavoring like pesto or sun-dried tomato.

My opinion is that 1 and 2 make me ill and I want no part of it, and I will often ask to not have number 3 if it comes with whatever I am eating...but if my sandwich came with number 3 on it, I probably wouldn't send it back and in fact in a few rare instances I actually wanted it.

So there you go. The 3 levels of mayo. Let me know what you think, or if there should be additional levels or examples added.
